Fellow Investor,
Something appears to be shifting under the surface of this market, and my read is that it isn't just noise. The market's longtime favorites look to me like they may be losing a step. Meanwhile, I'm seeing investor interest widen out well beyond the same handful of companies that have carried this market for years.

I've watched enough cycles like this one to have a view on what tends to come next. On our call, I'll give you my opinion on which sectors may still have potential, where I think risk is building, and where I see opportunities developing. My professional read is that distinct clusters of companies — AI, space, finance, defense, cybersecurity — could separate from the pack, some to the upside and some to the downside. Geopolitics, the interest rate path, competitive pressure and a handful of genuine disruptors can sort the stronger companies from the weaker ones. (No single recommendation suits everyone, each investor has a unique set of circumstances and goals.)
A quick word about me. I'm Bryan Perry. I write investment newsletters, but that isn't the whole of it: after more than 25 years advising institutional and individual clients, I manage growth and income portfolios for a small group of private clients through my practice, Bryan Perry's Private Clients.
So let me be clear about what this session is and is not. It isn't a webinar to thousands of investors with different interests. It isn't another list of general ideas. It's a conversation about you and your portfolio — how it's built, what it's meant to do for you, and how we would work to keep it pointed at your income and growth objectives as conditions change.
Most of the people I talk with are sharp investors. They've often managed money for years. For some, that works fine until the number of moving parts outgrows the hours anyone has to research and track them. At the moment, AI, inflation, tariffs, energy policy and geopolitics all seem to be sending different signals at once.
That's usually when the questions change. Not “what's the next trade,” but: “Is this portfolio still balanced, or has it drifted? Is it built to meet my income and growth objectives, or has it changed over time?”
I don't know your situation. But whether you're working with a couple of hundred thousand dollars or many millions, if you are interested in thinking through the opportunities and the risks tied to AI, inflation, tariffs, energy policy and geopolitics, you may want to hear how we manage growth and income portfolios. We strive to structure them to balance long-term growth against income, measured against what you are actually trying to accomplish. (No approach removes risk, and the right mix does depend on one's circumstances.)
Let's start with a conversation.
